Director of Fundraising and Marketing
Location: London (Holborn, WC1)

Bloodwise is the UK's specialist blood cancer charity which exists to beat blood cancer. Established in 1960, it funds world-class research; provides information and support to patients and their loved ones; and raises awareness of blood cancer.
UK Blood Cancer research leads the world. And this is thanks to the money Bloodwise have been able to invest because of its supporters and fundraising.
But so much more needs to be done: blood cancer is the fifth most common cancer and sadly it is the third biggest cancer killer in the UK, claiming more lives than either breast or prostate cancer. It is crucial that Bloodwise raises more funds to support our research.
Bloodwise is now seeking a Director of Fundraising and Marketing to join this brilliant, energised organisation at a critical point in its history. You will need to have a strong track record of delivering significant growth in income at a senior level across multiple fundraising disciplines. This is an opportunity for a talented individual to make a career defining impact.
We need someone who understands how to build and retain high performing teams, and how to grow a stable income base whilst balancing an innovation portfolio. You will also bring a deep experience of building successful high value partnerships and be comfortable using data and research to drive results.
You will be an empowering and inspiring leader who engages others quickly and who is able to inspire confidence and respect across the organisation, our partners and the media.
Above all else you will have a passion for Bloodwise’s work. You will demonstrate a commitment to the values of Bloodwise and a genuine empathy for its mission to significantly improve the chances of people with blood cancer to live longer, better quality lives.
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
PLEASE NOTE: We will be shortlisting as we received applications, so please apply early to register your interest.
