Deputy Fundraising Director, Engagement
Location: Central London EC1Y (Barbican or Old Street Underground)
Mencap is an organisation that is helping to transform the lives of 1.4m people with learning disabilities and their loved ones across the UK.

To achieve that, Mencap carries out campaigning for the rights of those with learning disabilities and their families, as well as delivers high- quality support and services to the people who need them.

The charity is now looking for a Deputy Fundraising Director to help shape what their Fundraising’s mass engagement will look like, as part of their five year ‘Big Plan’ strategy and defining what they believe the world should look like for people with learning difficulties and their friends and families. The role will also look to maximise opportunities arising from Mencap’s position as the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon charity partner.
You will need to have great analytical, communication and relationship-building skills. You will also have proven senior-level experience of mass fundraising, individual giving or marketing departments and of defining and implementing strategies to grow income, as well as of leading large audience or customer-led teams.
